How to join NCC:

The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis.
         National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy and Air        Force, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and patriotic citizens.

The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and Universities all over India. The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and parades.

The officers and cadets have no liability for active military service once they complete their course but are given preference over normal candidates during selections based on the achievements in the corps.

Differences between NCC B and C certificates:

·        NCC- C certificate is more value than the NCC-B certificate.
·        There are three certificates in NCC.
·        NCC-A, B, C certificate.
·        A certificate is based on the school level up to 10th class.
·        ‘B’ certificate is based on the +1 & +2.
·    ‘C’ certificate is based on the graduation level. When student read in the graduation then take the c certificate.
·     If you have the ‘c’ certificate then direct entry in the relevant field, like army, air force, navy,
Other certificate ‘B’ & ‘A’ has the own value.
·      The weight age of the number in the merit list.

Benefits of NCC 'B' & 'C' Certificates

NCC certificates are useful to get reservation in some counselling of Mtech, Btech, etc. and it also makes a positive impact on us if it is with us. Mostly the "C" certificate is more valuable..and then "B" certificate.

If you have "A" certificate , then it is not of that worth. so better to get "B" certificate atleast to make some use of it...and if you want, you can join the army easily than the candidates without NCC certificates. Govt job gives more preference to the NCC Cadets. In below example we provide you a detail of benefit of this certificate in armed forces job:

For Joining Armed Forces as Soldiers/Sailors/Airmen:

Army:   Five percent of marks are added to NCC 'A' Certificate holders on overall marks scored by the candidate. Similarly Eight percent marks are added to 'B' Certificate holders. In addition NCC 'C' Certificate holders get 10% bonus marks.

Navy: Weightage of following additional marks is given to NCC Certificate holders for recruitment in the Navy :-

Direct Entry Sailor(MER), Artificer Apprentices Diploma Holder

Air Force:   The marks as given below are added to selection Test marks of the qualified candidates possessing NCC Certificates in Air Wing:-
